Candlelight Restorative Yoga

​Under the soft glow of candlelight and  vibration of calming music, take your yoga practice on an inward journey, quieting the body and mind to encourage expansion at every level of your being.  Restore the body, mind and soul with this deeply nourishing practice.  Through supported, passive positions, this class brings relief and peace to the nervous system. The organs of the body are profoundly supported, and the biochemistry of the body changes as the cortisol levels drop in the blood. As a result, the entire body experiences deep rest that is far greater than an ordinary night′s sleep. This practice will change the way you go through life, creating the internal peace required to ′respond′ instead of ′react.′  It makes use of props (blocks, blankets, straps) to support and ease the body into poses that are held for longer periods of time. Great for the parasympathetic nervous system and reducing stress. You will leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and renewed.

Shakti Naam Dance is  dynamic shakti naam breathwork combined w Qi Gong and  free-form ecstatic dance/movement  to create a rhythmic meditation experience. It is a practice of surrendering to the moment and to our body’s wisdom. It is an opportunity for allowing, feeling, and expressing all the emotional qualities and textures that make up this human experience.  This unique form of movement meditation heals and frees physical, mental, emotional and spiritual blockages. Together we peel back layers, lay our masks down, and dance till we disappear. The fastest way to still the mind is to move the body.


Movement is a map to everywhere we want to go—inner, outer,
forward, back, physical, emotional, intellectual—they reconnect us to the
wisdom of our bodies and unleash movement’s dynamic healing power.

Naam Community Meditation

Begin with guided gentle physical movements followed by chanting/singing mantra. Whether you participate verbally or relax and listen, this class will bring peace to your mind and love to your heart. Perfect for the beginner and seasoned meditator alike. Mantras are in English, Hebrew, Sanskrit, Gurmukhi and Latin.

Yoga for Recovery - A Meeting on the Mat

We don't just "work" a 12 Step program; we live and breathe recovery, on our mats and in our lives. 

The truth is WE ARE ALL IN RECOVERY FOR SOMETHING.  Yoga for Recovery is a class for anyone who is in the process of recovering from any addiction, co-dependent relationship or habitual behavior/pattern that no longer serves them.  The only requirement is that you have a desire to be well. This is a safe space for people to heal the mind, body and soul.

Yoga for Recovery combines Yoga of 12 Step Recovery  (Y12SR) with the healing power of Naam Yoga.  Combining the two, creates a model that truly 

addresses addiction as the physical, mental & spiritual dis-ease that it is. 


We begin with an anonymous, small group-style check-in sharing session.  Then, over the course of an hour, we learn Naam Yoga breathing techniques to work on our mental state and bring balance  to our blood chemistry and then move through a sequence of postures that embodies the spiritual principles of recovery. We “work” the 12 Steps physically. 


Come to this heart-centered class where you can focus on taking care for yourself, awakening your self-awareness, cultivating self-acceptance and trust and learn to live in balance. Leave feeling grounded, calm, and moving forward with hope, strength and a positive outlook.

Yoga Essentials
Establish a solid foundation for your yoga practice in this class. Yoga Foundations is a slower practice developed to offer beginners, senior yogis, those with physical limitations or seasoned yogis looking to refine their alignment a slower and more fundamental approach to yoga. The class will include breath work, strengthening poses, balancing poses, and relaxation techniques, all the while focusing on the specific needs of the individuals in the class. All are welcome, especially those who want a slower-moving, less vigorous introduction to yoga. Foundations classes are great for every body type and every experience level.   Instruction is presented in a FUN, Compassionate, Patient and Loving manner!   Those new to yoga will find its pace and instruction friendly and accessible. This class will enable you to practice intelligently, and to improve your overall health.

Naam® Yoga Therapies forThe Brain and Nervous System

This class boosts the body's ability to adapt to stress, recover from injury and maximizes brain power. The exercises are designed to promote equilibrium in the nervous system and brain, to support nerve health and regeneration, improve memory and concentration, bring a sense of calm to each student. It activates neuronal pathways, increasing the efficacy of neurons and encouraging the formation of new synaptic connections. Specific techniques stimulate the pineal gland to increase the levels of Melatonin and serotonin, maintaining healthy sleep, reducing cholesterol and body fat while ridding the body of free radicals, just to name a few of the benefits. This class is beneficial as an adjunctive and/or preventative therapy for people with, or who have family history of Alzheimer's, Epilepsy, Ataxia, tremor, Multiple Sclerosis, tumors/cancer, as well as depression, anxiety bipolar, addictions and techniques are happily shared with all caregivers.

Naam® Yoga Therapies 

  The Naam Yoga Therapies program is designed to address every major system in the body including the cardiac and circulatory system, the brain and nervous system, the immune and lymphatic system, and the digestive system*. These highly therapeutic classes employ a combination of self-healing and preventative techniques that have been used for thousands of years to support regeneration, physical and emotional balance, detoxification, mental clarity and restorative sleep. Every class includes gentle movement and stretching, healing visualization, breathing exercises, mantra, hand reflexology postures, conscious relaxation and healing music. Students may sit on a cushion on a yoga mat, in a chair or a stool

Hatha Gong & Meditation

The practice of Hatha-Gong™ begins with the creation of a pose that is sealed with
vibration using specific strike patterns on a gong. Hatha-Gong is a beautiful practice
that will help all students find a deeper and perhaps unexplored layer in their
conventional practice of postures.  This combination of posture and vibration enhances the meditative and
transformational quality of the class, restoring balance within the body, mind and spirit. 

This beautiful practice is followed by a relaxing Gong Meditation,  that has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being is permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness. It unlocks the mystical, integrative powers of the subconscious, as well as your higher centers of consciousness, to effortlessly erase your most tenacious, self-destructive habits and behavior patterns. Dress comfortably. Bring a yoga mat, a pillow and a blanket, as well as something to cover your eyes, like an eye pillow.
